Career Forum at the Lycée Français: inspire the next generation of tech talent

As part of our Talent Development & Education pillar, La French Tech Bangkok is joining the Career Forum of the Lycée Français International de Bangkok (LFIB).

Two ways to take part:

• 🎓 LFIB students: no registration needed. Just come and visit the French Tech booth during the forum.
• 💼 Tech professionals: we are looking for volunteers to talk with the students. Volunteers must register: Volunteer with us: fill in the form.

For students: visit our booth

Tech is everywhere: in apps, games, banks, hospitals, shops, travel and even farming. Behind it are people with very different jobs and very different paths. At our booth you can meet some of them: startup founders, developers, product managers, data and AI specialists, designers, marketers and investors from the French tech community in Thailand.

Ask them anything:

• What do you actually do all day?
• What did you study, and would you choose the same path again?
• Do you need to be good at maths or coding to work in tech?
• How did you start your company, or land your first job?
• What will tech jobs look like in ten years?

Still exploring (3e, Seconde)? Come with general questions and discover jobs you may not know exist. Choosing your studies (Première, Terminale)? Ask about the schools, universities, prépas and routes that lead to tech careers, in France, Thailand and elsewhere.

The format is relaxed: small groups, short round tables of about 30 minutes, and real conversations, no lectures.

For tech professionals: volunteer at the booth

Share your job and your journey with high school students, and meet professionals from other industries.

• No presentation to prepare. Tell your story honestly and answer the students' questions simply.
• Students come with an interview guide prepared by the school, plus a short profile card about each speaker.
• Any tech role is welcome, and unusual paths are often the most inspiring.
• Registration is mandatory so the school can plan the round tables and prepare your profile card.

• When: Saturday 12 December 2026, 08:00 to 12:00
• Where: Lycée Français International de Bangkok
• Students: from 3e to Terminale; the detailed timetable and table rotations are organised by the school.
• Volunteers: the detailed timetable is sent after you register through the form.
